JLD Program

The Job Location and Development (JLD) Program assists employers in hiring UL Lafayette students for part-time, summer, internship and/or cooperative education (co-op) positions. This program is partially funded by the federal government and operates on a year-round basis. Employers may post their job opportunities with Career Services at no charge. Opportunities are posted on a bulletin board in the Career Services office and on our online program, eRecruiting, where students are able to access the job listings 24/7.

Since our JLD Program is a recipient of federal funds, we are required to report certain employment data about the students placed through our services. Thus, we must ask that you complete the JLD Employer Report once you have filled your part-time, summer, internship and/or cooperative education position(s). This information is strictly confidential and only statistical data is identified on the Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP).
