![]() Campus-wide Career Days are held each fall and spring semester. Local, state, national and international employers have regularly utilized these events to recruit UL Lafayette students and alumni. Participants have the opportunity to personally meet recruiters from diverse companies and to network with returning alumni. Companies also have the option of interviewing applicants after the event. Students should dress professionally and have several copies of their resume' available to submit to prospective employers. Held annually during the fall semester, this event gives students and alumni majoring in nursing and allied health professions the opportunity to discuss career opportunities with representatives from hospitals, healthcare agencies and businesses. Career Services coordinates a Teacher Recruitment Day each fall and spring semester. School board representatives from across the United States recruit, interview and hire UL Lafayette education majors at this event. Teacher Recruitment Day is open to speech pathology and education majors who are student teaching and/or graduating that semester and to graduating seniors/alumni who are qualified to teach. Since all interviews are scheduled online during a scheduled period, participants must visit Career Services to complete the registration process. Professional dress is required.
